Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble, and build specialist projects using engineering drawings and design data.
• Install rivets with pneumatic rivet guns and use silicone and sealants with various preparation methods.
• Operate battery and electric powered drill guns while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assemble and join different panels and parts, including torquing and recording tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety procedures.
• Record progress of work and inspect components before passing to the next stage.
• Support Production Managers and Team Leaders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean and 5S procedures.

Key Skills:

• Mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting experience.
• Previous experience in automotive or heavy industry is highly desirable.
• Understanding of assembly processes and techniques.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and associated design data.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with workshop environments and production methods.
• Completion of a City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent is desirable.
