Key Responsibilities:

  • Support seller onboarding, working closely with the marketplace team to deliver smooth, efficient and rapid launches.
  • Support new sellers with platform operation and functional tools.
  • Become a specialist in our 3 party marketplace platform (Mirakl) and all related MW systems, with a focus on product data.
  • Provide ongoing support to sellers and be the point of call for issue resolution.
  • Execute all upload, moderation, review and optimisation activities for MW Marketplace sellers’ product data.
  • Maintain and develop the MW Marketplace product hierarchy and attributes, ensuring alignment with our own-brand catalogue.
  • Monitor for changes in content requirements from sellers & working with development to implement.
  • Work with sellers to maximise product content quality to drive growth.
  • Work with IT Development on platform changes, as related to seller onboarding and product content.
  • Work with the marketplace team to identify & improve efficiencies in the marketplace seller experience.
  • Present ideas and updates to all levels of seniority.

Key Skills:

  • eCommerce experience, preferably with experience of marketplaces.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with large datasets and recognising where the smallest improvements can make the biggest differences.
  • Technical understanding and ability to upskill on new systems easily.
  • Ability to engage with external customers confidently and build credible relationships.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at managing multiple concurrent projects and able to prioritise your workload accordingly.

As part of strategic digital acceleration, we launched an on-site marketplace platform in 2022 with the aim of expanding our third-party brand offering to deliver our customers unparalleled choice.

The Marketplace Seller Support Executive will be responsible for new seller onboarding, ongoing seller support, issue resolution and for seller product data processes (upload, moderation, review and optimisation). You will work closely with the marketplace team to deliver smooth and efficient seller launches and assist sellers with platform operation. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our expansion strategy and is well suited to someone with a passion for eCommerce, high attention to detail, who thrives in a high growth environment and is comfortable with new technologies and relationship building.
