Summary: The Freelance Senior UX/UI Designer role is a full-time position for approximately two weeks starting in December, offering a flexible working arrangement between home and the office. The designer will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to oversee UX/UI requirements for various projects, ensuring high-quality user experiences and documentation. Key responsibilities include managing UX activities, delivering design artifacts, and consulting on digital ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in UX design, particularly in B2B contexts, and experience with tools like Figma and Jira.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high value user experience and user research consultancy to clients.
- Planning, managing, and carrying out all UX, IA, and interaction design activities.
- Planning and prioritising all digital sales activities, including pitches and presentations to clients.
- Delivering sitemaps, wireframes, user journeys, personas, functional specs, and prototypes.
- Ensuring a high quality of UX documentation and setting a benchmark for the team.
- Collaborating closely with front-end developers to innovate and enhance interaction design.
- Identifying efficiencies and consulting on an ecosystem level across digital channels.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in UX design with experience in B2B corporate web design, online reports, intranets, and applications.
- Good understanding of accessibility, user-centric design, and technical limitations of platforms, specifically Umbraco.
- Experienced in writing UX documentation effectively.
- Ability to deliver projects end-to-end successfully while managing multiple projects.
- Organised and reliable with familiarity in Figma and Jira.
- Bonus experience with Webflow and Adobe products.
- Experience working with creative briefs and inspiring clients through effective idea sharing.

Within this role you would work closely with the Creative Director, overseeing UX/ UI requirements for various projects.

Planning and prioritising all digital sales activities, including pitches and presentations to clients. Delivering sitemaps, wireframes, user journeys, personas, functional specs, and prototypes. Ensuring a high quality of UX documentation and setting a benchmark for the rest of the team to follow. Working in close collaboration with FE developers to understand how far we can push innovation and quality through all our interaction design. Spotting efficiencies and areas of benefit between digital channels and being able to consult on an ecosystem level.
Requirements You're proficient in UX and ideally have experience in B2B corporate web design, online reports, intranets, and applications. You have a good understanding of accessibility, user-centric design and the technical limitations of different platforms, specifically Umbraco. Experienced with writing documentation on UX and you're very good at it. You can deliver projects end-to-end successfully. You relish being at the heart of projects and are comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time. You're organised and reliable. You can inspire clients to push their own thinking by effectively sharing your ideas.
