Summary: The Publications Producer role at a leading London university involves managing the production of printed student recruitment materials. This temporary position requires an experienced individual to oversee the entire production cycle, ensuring high-quality publications that comply with regulatory standards. The role also includes collaboration with designers and external printers, as well as stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and proofreading skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full production cycle of student recruitment print materials, from planning through to final delivery.
- Commission and manage relationships with external printers to ensure cost-effective and timely output.
- Collaborate with in-house designers to create engaging and on-brand publications.
- Proofread all content to a high standard, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accuracy.
- Ensure all materials meet Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) compliance standards.
- Contribute to the production of online publications as required.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the university to coordinate inputs and meet deadlines.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience managing the production of printed publications.
- Exceptional proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience working with printers and managing print production timelines.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Understanding of CMA compliance in the context of student recruitment.
