Summary: The Marketing Manager role at MHA involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing and business development plans tailored to specific regions and service lines. The position requires collaboration with partners and various teams to create multichannel campaigns and manage client-facing events. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in marketing, particularly within professional services, and will be responsible for enhancing the firm's visibility and brand in the North West and Midlands. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Manchester or Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive annual marketing and business development plans.
- Lead the creation and execution of multichannel campaigns, including events, email marketing, PR, social media, and digital aspects.
- Write and edit engaging content relevant to the target market, including articles and internal communications.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of client-facing events, ensuring strong attendance and engagement.
- Prepare compelling proposals and tender submissions aligned with client requirements and strategic objectives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the firm's visibility and brand within the business community.
- Engage with local intermediaries and support the business development team.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, digital, and BD teams to leverage resources and share best practices.
- Deliver regular reports on marketing activity and ROI.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and standards.
- Contribute ideas and support as a proactive member of the central marketing team.

- Work closely with partners to develop, implement and deliver comprehensive annual marketing and business development plans tailored to the assigned regions and service line.
- Lead the creation and execution of multichannel campaigns, including events, email marketing, PR, social media and digital aspects.
- Write and edit engaging content relevant to our target market, including articles, social media posts, and leadership pieces, as well as internal communications.
- Manage the end to end delivery of client facing events, ensuring strong attendance, engagement and follow up.
- Prepare compelling proposals and tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client requirements, brand standards, and strategic objectives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the firm's visibility and brand within the North West and Midlands business community.
- Actively engage with local intermediaries and support the business development team in their approach.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategy and tactics, with a focus on setting the pace in the industry rather than simply following competitors' initiatives.
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing, creative, digital and BD team to leverage firmwide resources, support cross functional initiatives, share best practice, and gain specialist input into campaigns where appropriate.
- Deliver regular reports on progress, achievements, and key metrics, including analysis on the marketing activity undertaken and ROI.
- Be a brand champion and advocate, ensuring everything complies with brand guidelines and meets the required standards.
- Be a proactive member of the central marketing team, contributing ideas, support, and leadership as needed.
