Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and explain industrial requirements during product specification and design phases.
  • Participate in product design using appropriate methodologies.
  • Design macro-processes and prepare for the introduction of new technologies.
  • Estimate method time and perform preliminary line balancing.
  • Identify critical process steps for detailed Process FMEA and full FAR/FAI.
  • Complete industrial documentation and perform P-FMEA during detailed design phase.
  • Develop specifications for industrial means for serial production.
  • Define workstation layouts considering ergonomic and EHS rules.
  • Support production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets.
  • Bring expertise to the industrial Costing Manager during the tender phase.
  • Participate in R&D programs as an industrial representative.
  • Perform industrial REX on manufacturing processes.

Key Skills:

  • Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering background with 5 to 10 years' experience, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Technical experience in Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, and line balancing.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials and Routings.
  • Working knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics.
  • Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA).
  • Familiarity with Process FMEA and QRQC.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation and decisiveness.
