Summary: Join a leading partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence as a Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly and Integration) in Stevenage, focusing on the manufacturing and assembly of missiles. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and updating instructions for manufacturing.
- Designing, commissioning, and validating associated tooling.
- Assisting in the industrial validation process using tools such as FMEAs and FAIs.
- Resolving technical issues during the manufacturing process.
- Managing configuration control and incorporating design modifications into manufacturing instructions.
- Utilising SAP to assist with the Non-Conformance Process.
Key Skills:
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 with a formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject, or a BEng degree in a relevant engineering field, or a minimum of twenty years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
- Knowledge of analysing design drawings to produce manufacturing build instructions.
- Experience in Electronic Sub Assembly manufacture and assembly processes for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse team and interpret documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training and SAP experience.
