Summary: The Festival and Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in event planning and marketing strategies for Swans Events, focusing on organizing and promoting festivals while enhancing brand presence. This fixed contract position until December 2025 offers opportunities to develop skills in event management and marketing. The role requires collaboration with the Managing Director and involves various responsibilities, including digital marketing and event coordination. The ideal candidate should be innovative, motivated, and passionate about events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the MD to create and execute marketing campaigns, including social media schedules and content creation.
  • Maintain and update the company’s digital presence on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
  • Organize and coordinate printed publicity for events, including posters and flyers.
  • Design digital social media assets using Canva.
  • Assist with coordination for events from concept to execution, including budgeting and artist liaison.
  • Develop event materials such as signage and event manuals.
  • Manage post-event follow-ups and evaluation reports.
  • Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars and meeting minutes.
  • Assist Event & Production Managers onsite during events.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in event coordination and/or marketing.
  • Strong communication skills for building relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience using Canva, Wordpress, and Wix.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in contributing to evaluation reports.
  • Proactive and self-starter attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for events and creativity.
  • Experience with remote work and flexibility in work locations.

Salary (Rate): 2250
