Key Responsibilities:

  • Kitting activity.
  • Loading and unloading of lorries.

  • Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Use of own initiative.
  • Flexibility.
  • Manual handling training.
  • Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes).
  • ESD training.
  • PC skills, including EXCEL (desirable).
  • Fork lift truck licence (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systems (desirable).
  • Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP (desirable).

What are we looking for in our Manufacturing Controller ? Manufacturing Controller – Bolton – 12 months contract - £22.64 per hour Umbrella – BPSS needed before start The Manufacturing Controller role will involve issue, receipt and management of stores and inventory in a stores environment. Loading, control and monitoring of work packages in a manufacturing environment. Must have : Store experience within a manufacturing environment Rate - £16.88 rising to £17.88 PAYE or £20.82 rising to £22.64 Umbrella

Responsibilities:

  • Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control.
  • Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules.
  • Packing including the use of hand tools.
  • Receiving and issuing of tooling.

  • Kitting activity.
  • Loading and unloading of Lorries.
