Summary: Venn Group is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a renowned broadcasting organization to join their finance team on an interim basis. The role involves ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and process improvements within a complex group environment. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting qualification and experience in group finance functions. This position offers a full-time commitment with a high likelihood of extension beyond the initial contract duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Conducting intercompany reconciliations and implementing robust reconciliation controls
- Reviewing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliation processes across the group
- Identifying opportunities for process re-engineering and applying best practice to drive improvements
- Supporting the month-end close process, including reporting and variance analysis
- Collaborating with operational teams to support informed decision-making
- Maintaining and enhancing financial models and reporting tools
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies
- Liaising with internal and external auditors as required
Key Skills:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Experience using SAP and other ERP systems
- Prior exposure to group finance functions within large, complex organisations
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Salary (Rate): £300 per day
