Summary: The Management Accountant role involves supporting the finance team of an international organization by delivering accurate management accounts for multiple EU subsidiaries. The position requires expertise in month-end close processes, VAT returns, and payroll management, with a focus on collaboration and autonomy. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close for EU entities including payroll, VAT returns, EC sales listings, and intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare month-end review files and provide detailed commentary explaining changes to the P&L and Balance Sheet
- Collaborate with external accountants to complete the annual audits and statutory accounts
- Multi-currency cashflow management and forecasting
- Prepare monthly payroll journals and manage associated salary payments
- High visibility role with lots of autonomy and room for growth
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent time management
- Netsuite experience (bonus)
- Previous experience managing multi-entity accounting and EU VAT
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver under pressure
