Summary: The MAINFRAME Infrastructure- IBM/ Z Storage Specialist role in Sheffield involves managing and configuring mainframe storage solutions, with a focus on IBM storage controllers and disaster recovery systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure mainframe storage solutions and hardware.
- Support and configure IBM storage controllers and software.
- Implement and manage IBM’s GDPS and PPRC for data replication and disaster recovery.
- Support Dell Disk Library for Mainframe virtual tape technology.
- Manage ICF catalog and TDMF configuration.
- Utilize CA disk utilities and JCL for mainframe operations.
- Oversee FICON/Network management.
