M&E Manager

Summary: The M&E Manager role involves leading the operational management of compliance control and monitoring for statutory and non-statutory works within a Housing Association. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal obligations and the safe operation of life safety systems. The manager will oversee the M&E Engineer and work closely with senior management to enhance awareness of compliance issues. Key deliverables include ensuring compliance processes are followed and risks are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operational management of compliance control and monitoring for servicing, inspection, and remedial works.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders to meet statutory obligations and ensure safe operation of asset-related systems.
• Manage the M&E Engineer and maintain relationships with senior management and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance service, testing, and inspection processes are carried out correctly and records are maintained.
• Implement robust processes to manage legal obligations regarding property compliance and mitigate risks.
• Work with H&S Manager and Building Safety Manager to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
