Summary: The Logistics Project Manager will lead a significant reorganization and optimization project within logistics and warehouse operations at a global manufacturing company. This role requires a results-oriented individual with a strong background in logistics to enhance production efficiency. The position involves collaboration with various departments and managing internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Daily on-site presence is mandatory to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage the complete overhaul and optimization of material delivery and storage systems to the production line.
- Collaborate with various departments domestically and internationally for seamless project execution.
- Gather best practices from sister factories to align logistics strategy.
- Support and interface with the existing management team.
- Manage internal stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven project management skills in delivering complex projects.
- Extensive experience in logistics and warehouse management, ideally including new warehouse setup/mobilisations.
- Experience in complex organizational structures.
- Proficiency in MS Project.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Formal PM qualifications are desirable but not essential.
