Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive MSK assessments to diagnose and formulate effective treatment plans
- Implementing evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, soft tissue techniques, electrotherapy, and pain management strategies
- Managing a diverse caseload including acute injuries, chronic pain conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries
- Educating and advising patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and long-term self-management strategies
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (GPs, consultants, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals) to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to clinical audits and service improvement initiatives
- Providing clinical support and mentorship to junior staff and students where applicable
Key Skills:
- HCPC registration and CSP membership
- Previous experience working as an MSK physiotherapist in an NHS, private, or community setting
- Strong clinical reasoning skills to assess and manage complex MSK conditions
- A proactive and patient-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of NICE guidelines, MSK pathways, and evidence-based practice
