Summary: The LMS Developer role at HSE Counsel focuses on creating and optimizing learning management systems specifically for the Health & Safety sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize LMS platform configured with third-party LMS preferably LearnDash.
- Design user-friendly and visually engaging course interfaces and dashboards.
- Integrate SCORM/xAPI-compliant training content and ensure compatibility.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and reporting meets Health & Safety regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with HSE trainers, content creators, and stakeholders to map out user journeys and learning paths.
- Implement gamification, certifications, assessments, and feedback tools.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and provide technical support.
- Analyze usage data to improve learner experience and course effectiveness.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an LMS Developer or similar role.
- Bachelor Degree in Educational Technology.
- Strong experience working with Health & Safety training content or regulatory learning environments.
- Level 3 Qualification in Health and Safety.
- Proficient with one or more LMS platforms (preferably LearnDash).
- Familiar with SCORM, xAPI, LTI, and AICC standards.
- Experience in HTML5, CSS, Wordpress, JavaScript, and LMS customization.
- Solid understanding of instructional design principles and UX for adult learning.
- Ability to showcase portfolio or examples of previous LMS projects (especially in HSE or regulated industries).
