This will primarily involve being responsible for maintaining precedent legal documents and negotiating customer and supplier contracts. The role will involve providing commercial advice on all legal matters to the business and ensuring the business complies with its legal obligations. There is scope to focus on areas the successful candidate is interested in such as real property, intellectual property, employment and corporate law.
The Person:
- Qualified Solicitor: Fully qualified Solicitor (or equivalent UK/international legal qualification) with a strong background in commercial law.
- Commercial Contracts: Proven track record drafting and negotiating customer, supplier, and vendor agreements.
- Pragmatic Approach: Ability to deliver commercially focused, risk-assessed advice rather than just academic legal theory.
- Precedent Management: Experience creating and maintaining standard company templates and precedents.
- Adaptable Generalist: Comfortable supporting multiple global departments and prioritising a high volume of varied requests.
