Summary: The Lead Security Specialist - PAM is responsible for designing and implementing a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution, ensuring it aligns with organizational policies and integrates with existing IT systems. This role involves leading resources, providing training, and engaging with stakeholders to promote effective use of the PAM solution. The specialist will also develop operational models and produce standards for IT service management related to PAM. The position is remote or hybrid, based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan the implementation roadmap for the PAM solution, including workflow design and role/access definition aligned with organizational policies.
- Coordinate and lead resources to ensure timely and successful task completion.
- Implement and configure the PAM solution and integrate it with existing IT systems, ensuring automation and functionality meet business requirements.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and support to staff to ensure adoption and effective use of the PAM solution.
- Engage with stakeholders across IT, management, and end-users to communicate benefits and address concerns.
- Set up reporting and analytics within the PAM solution to monitor effectiveness, user behavior, and security risks.
- Develop operational business models depicting the current and future states of ITSM business processes related to privileged identity and access management.
- Create process and data flow models for identity lifecycle, application onboarding/offboarding, infrastructure/resource planning, and service delivery planning.
- Develop high-level system interaction models to support ITSM procedures and training.
- Produce standards, policies, and procedures for ITSM of the PAM solution, including user access and security, incident reporting, software licensing, system changes, and KPI/KRI reporting.
- Complete required privacy and security training and sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to the assignment.
Key Skills:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline, or certification in Information Technology from a recognized institution (or equivalent education and experience).
- 5 years of operational experience in requirements elicitation and analysis related to policy and process design.
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity processes including compliance, risk evaluation, and exception handling.
- 5 years of experience in Privileged Access Management technologies.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in PAM implementation.
- 5 years of leadership experience in roles such as team lead, lead architect, or program technical lead.

- Experience designing, documenting, and improving ITSM business processes for enterprise systems, including:
- Formats used (e.g., Word, Visio), stakeholders engaged, and engagement stXXgies.
- Competency in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and prioritization, including:
- Stakeholder levels (e.g., VPs, SMEs, IT), engagement approach, and types of deliverable.
- Experience in dministering PAM solutions end to end, including:
- Compliance and governance, process documentation, onboarding, auditing, analytics, and defining KPIs/KRIs.
- Experience producing visual process models and architecture diagrams, including:
- Business workflows, policies, communication plans, and RACI matrices.
