Summary: The Lead Project Management Specialist 2 is responsible for delivering moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects, ensuring alignment with value propositions, schedules, and budgets. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, fostering customer relationships, and coordinating internal processes for procurement and project execution. The specialist will also report on key performance indicators and manage communications between customers and the company throughout the project duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects in line with value proposition, schedule, and budget.
• Identify customer points of contact and build relationships to foster customer intimacy.
• Monitor and expedite internal processes for procurement of project materials and services.
• Report major project KPIs to leadership, including on-time delivery and project margin.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from planning through completion and close-out review.
• Coordinate communications between the customer and the company throughout the contract period.
• Coordinate recruitment of project personnel and tooling within internal departments.
• Regularly review project performance and report significant issues to senior management.
• Report completion of project milestones for on-time invoicing.
• Negotiate and record customer project variations, notifying relevant internal departments.
• Ensure timely completion of final project reports and workbooks.
• Identify risks and opportunities, developing plans for mitigation and growth.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven record as a Project Manager, field service, or contract management in industrial Power Generation.
• Ability to travel as required for order execution and customer engagement.
