Summary: The Lead .NET Developer will spearhead a team focused on developing innovative internal systems for a global logistics client, emphasizing cloud security and containerization technologies. This role involves designing scalable .NET applications and ensuring compliance with best practices in cloud security. The position also includes mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in development processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers and provide guidance/mentoring.
• Design and develop scalable and secure .NET applications.
• Use Docker/Kubernetes to implement containerisation technologies for efficient deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define software requirements.
• Ensure the team complies with cloud security best practices.
• Oversee the full SDLC, from design to deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement across development teams ensuring innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience leading software development teams.
• Extensive commercial experience as a Lead .NET Developer - .NET Core/.NET Framework and C#.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Functions, DevOps etc.).
• Strong experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best principles and practices.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication, leadership and mentorship skills.
• Any UI/UX experience is desirable.
