About the role We have an exciting 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Lead Finance Business Partner – CIDO (Chief Information & Digital Office) and Change to be responsible for driving reporting on management costs for Group investment portfolios, change initiatives and CIDO BAU costs. Reporting to the Head of Cost Management, the person in post will lead a team of professionals to understand the delivery plans and progress across all initiatives, and ensure there is robust and transparent reporting, as well as challenge around forecast spend and value being delivered. The Lead Finance Business Partner will deliver and communicate forward-looking cost projections up to Exco-level and will lead the production of cost forecasts, providing a key contribution to corporate plans. The role holder will also deliver expert financial insight and guidance to executive management on cost and investment related matters and will produce relevant, timely and accurate management information to executive committees. The role holder will also review business cases and conduct thorough financial evaluations of new projects, initiatives, and investments, assessing their feasibility, ROI, and risks. In addition, they will use their industry knowledge to proactively identify opportunities and risks for the directorate or the Society.
