Summary: The Lead Delivery Manager will oversee the successful delivery of digital transformation projects for a key NHS client in Cardiff. This role demands strong leadership and stakeholder engagement, utilizing Agile methodologies to enhance healthcare services. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with NHS strategic goals.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, providing clear communication and strategic direction.
- Implement Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies to enhance project delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring projects remain on track.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within digital service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with NHS digital standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in delivery management, programme management, or digital transformation within a complex organisation (NHS/public sector experience desirable).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire teams.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution.
- Experience working with digital service development and IT infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of NHS digital governance, compliance, and data security requirements (desirable).
