Summary: The Lead Delivery Manager will oversee the successful delivery of digital transformation projects for a key NHS client in Cardiff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with NHS strategic goals.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, providing clear communication and strategic direction.
  • Implement Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies to enhance project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring projects remain on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within digital service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with NHS digital standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in delivery management, programme management, or digital transformation within a complex organisation (NHS/public sector experience desirable).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire teams.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Lean methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution.
  • Experience working with digital service development and IT infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of NHS digital governance, compliance, and data security requirements (desirable).
