Summary: The Lead Commercial Contract Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Crown Prosecution Service's commercial function by managing strategic relationships with external suppliers and overseeing complex contracts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of contract management and supplier relationship strategies for a designated portfolio of contracts.
  • Manage contract management plans, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms are in place.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for contract awards, change controls, and exit management.
  • Resolve performance issues and supplier disputes to minimize service delivery impact.
  • Support the Head of Contract Management in developing and implementing strategies and policies.
  • Identify project delays and resource difficulties, mitigating them for smooth delivery.
  • Meet client expectations and keep purchasing programs and projects on track.
