Summary: The Junior Data Engineer role at RNLI involves supporting a cloud-based platform that enhances the organization's data management capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build pipelines to automate data transformation processes.
- Identify and solve data quality issues throughout the data transformation processes.
- Provide data for one of the core customer groups.
- Follow best practices when developing any data solutions.
- Ensure appropriate quality data is provisioned for desired analysis, applications, and process outputs.
- Help develop RNLI capabilities in Data Integration, Mastering, Quality, and Analytics via cloud-based platforms.
Key Skills:
- Sound grounding in SQL and cloud engineering.
- Previous experience working with data and SQL.
- Familiarity with modern Database and ELT technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Fivetran, SQL Server, SnapLogic.
- Strong desire and willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Team player with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with a range of technology.
