JDE World Soft Consultant

Summary: The JDE World Soft Consultant role involves leading a data migration project from JDE Worldsoft to Oracle Cloud, requiring extensive experience in both technical and functional aspects of JDE Worldsoft. The consultant will collaborate with project teams to design migration strategies, develop scripts, and ensure data integrity throughout the process. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for validating data and providing technical support. The position demands a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to design and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy from JDE Worldsoft to Oracle Cloud.
• Analyze existing JDE Worldsoft data structures, identify data relationships, and develop a data mapping plan for migration to Oracle Cloud.
• Develop and execute data migration scripts, using tools such as JDE's Data ImportExport, Oracle Cloud's Data Loader, or other ETL tools.
• Ensure data integrity and quality during the migration process, identifying and resolving any data discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Work closely with functional teams to validate migrated data and ensure business requirements are met.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on JDE Worldsoft and Oracle Cloud technologies.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful data migration and system integration.
• Document all technical aspects of the data migration process, including data mapping, migration scripts, and testing results.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of experience working with JDE Worldsoft, with a focus on technical and functional aspects.
• Strong understanding of JDE Worldsoft data structures, tables, and relationships.
• Experience with data migration, integration, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI, Oracle Cloud Applications OCA, and Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP).
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide technical guidance and support.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud's Autonomous Database, Oracle Cloud's Data Lake, or other cloud-based data management solutions (nice to have).
• Certification in JDE Worldsoft, Oracle Cloud, or related technologies (nice to have).
