Summary: The role of Java Developer involves joining a collaborative Agile Scrum team to develop innovative geospatial solutions using modern cloud technologies. The position requires active SC clearance and entails working on scalable cloud-based applications throughout the software development lifecycle. Developers will engage in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and ensure quality through testing and best practices. The role is based in either Guildford or Newcastle with a hybrid working arrangement of 2-3 days onsite.
Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to code reviews and reusable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the team in Agile ceremonies.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Java.
- Experience in cloud services development.

- DevSecOps awareness (e.g. Tekton, ArgoCD, SonarQube) (desirable).
- Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift (desirable).
- Familiarity with the Quarkus framework (desirable).
- Front-end development experience with Angular (desirable).
