Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from the business analyst team.
- Analyze new technical requirements within the development team.
- Develop and unit test applications using Java/Java 8, REST, Python, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.
- Work with AI technologies.
- Utilize GitHub, Jenkins, pipeline, agile methodologies, SDLC, design methodology, API, and TDD.
- Write SQL, database procedures, and optimize query performance.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospective calls, and daily stand-ups for the agile scrum process.
- Review JIRA and acceptance criteria for planned tasks.
- Discuss QA/UAT releases and test plans with the QA team.
- Follow the release management process and plan for production turnover.
- Provide support for critical production issues.
- Keep technical documents and project artifacts up to date.
- Plan and execute the migration of old applications to the new platform.
- Review and optimize application performance on the Java and database side.
- Complete a HackerEarth coding assessment to evaluate technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Key Skills:
- Strong programming and analytical skills in Core Java.
- Experience with microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
- Proficient in RESTful API development, Java 8 features, and Kafka.
