Summary: The IT Technician role involves managing queue tickets, stock, and hardware repairs within a designated Hub, ensuring service levels are maintained as per contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Queue ticket management ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain service levels.
- Hub stock management including asset management of kit in/out.
- Effective management of disposals through the Hub.
- Triage and perform hardware repairs of 'in Warranty kit' and liaise with vendors for parts and returns.
- Locker replenishments where appropriate.
- Highlight potential service issues and improvements to the Team Leader.
- Follow agreed processes and procedures from the Authority or Computacenter.
Key Skills:
- Must have SC clearance or be able to gain it.
- UK National with a UK passport.
- Full clean driving licence.
- 2+ years experience in a PC field service or workshop environment.
- Hardware diagnosis, troubleshooting, support, and repair skills.
- Accredited or willing to undergo HP & Dell training for desktops and laptops.
