Summary: The IT Manager - Microsoft Azure role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Microsoft Azure, with a focus on big data processing and cloud architecture. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and implement best practices in data management. This is a hybrid role based in Weybridge, with a 4-month assignment starting from June 1, 2025. Candidates must possess technical engineering skills and be eligible to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Enhance existing automations and workflows to improve data quality and streamline processes.
- Develop interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Establish and advocate for best practices in data management and governance.
Key Skills:
- Mastery of Data bricks, Python/PySpark, and SQL/SparkSQL.
- Experience in Big Data/ETL, preferably with Spark and Data bricks.
- Expertise in Azure and proficiency with version control (Git preferred).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DAX, and PowerBI front end.
- Understanding of Data Models and Agile SCRUM/DevOps methodologies.
- English proficiency and equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.
