Summary: Our client, a global software solutions company based in Victoria, London, is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Technician for a 6-month contract with potential for extension. The role involves providing technical support on-site, assisting with desktop and enterprise applications, and troubleshooting various hardware and connectivity issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues as 1st, 2nd level support for desktop and enterprise applications, local/networking printing, e-mail, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot and replace laptop and PC hardware.
  • Provides professional-level phone support to customers.
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access.

Key Skills:

  • Computer graduate or similar
  • 1+ years experience in IT Desktop Support.
  • Familiarity supporting Mac OS X & Windows 10.
  • Familiarity with wired and Wi-Fi Networking with Windows Active Directory preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

They are now seeking a IT Helpdesk Support Technician for a 6 month contract (likely extension) where you will benefit from great technical support from your colleagues. This role is based on site in Victoria.

Responsibiities

Duties range from remote desktop assistance to providing support over the telephone to troubleshooting issues that arise with computers.

  • Troubleshoot issues as 1st, 2nd level support for desktop and enterprise applications, local/networking printing, e-mail, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues.
