Summary: Atrium EMEA is seeking multiple Senior Project Managers for contract roles within the financial services sector, specifically located in Cheshire. Candidates must have relevant experience in data governance or cyber security and be able to work onsite two days a week. The roles require strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments. Both positions are inside IR35 and offer competitive day rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a data screening and governance programme
- Manage delivery of a Purview-based data repository solution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across data, technology, risk, and governance
- Own project plans, RAID, reporting, and governance forums
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the organisation
- Ensure delivery aligns with data governance, compliance, and regulatory expectations
- Lead delivery of cyber security and/or resilience-related initiatives
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships across technology, security, and the business
- Drive delivery of new scope work in a fast-moving environment
- Own governance, reporting, risk, and dependency management
- Ensure projects align with organisational resilience and security objectives
- Provide clear, concise communication to senior leadership
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex data programmes
- Strong background in data screening, data classification, or data governance initiatives
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Purview (discovery, classification, policies, repositories)
- Experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager in enterprise environments
- Demonstrable experience delivering cyber security, resilience, or risk-related programmes
- Strong track record of managing demanding, senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in regulated or risk-sensitive environments
- Able to work onsite in Cheshire 2 days per week
- Available to start within 4 weeks
- Comfortable operating in high-pressure, high-visibility programmes
- Confident, credible senior-level operator who has "been around the block"

Role 1: Senior Project Manager - Data Screening & Governance
Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)
Day Rate: £500 per day
Duration: 12 months
Location: Cheshire - 2 days per week onsite (mandatory)
Start Date: ASAP (maximum 4 weeks' notice)
Overview
A senior Project Manager is required to lead a high-visibility data initiative focused on data screening, classification, and governance. This is a new scope of work within a complex enterprise environment and requires a confident, experienced operator who can manage ambiguity and senior stakeholders with ease.
