Summary: The role of IT GES Project Manager involves leading small to medium projects within a leading Insurance Services Provider on a hybrid basis. The position requires managing project lifecycles, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives, and coaching less experienced team members. The contract is initially for six months, with a likelihood of extension, and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small to medium projects or workstreams within a programme/portfolio.
  • Manage projects using the Change Delivery Framework to agreed time, quality, and cost.
  • Work with the Project Sponsor to build a robust business case for each project.
  • Transform business objectives into tangible deliverables and measurable benefits.
  • Control and manage project budget, escalating deviations as necessary.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, actions, and decisions.
  • Manage resources, including external vendors, and address availability issues.
  • Continuously assess expected project outcomes to ensure benefits are met.
  • Ensure project activities are appropriately scoped and delivered.
  • Close projects, capturing key lessons for continuous improvement.
  • Coach and support less experienced team members in change management and project delivery.
  • Follow data and security processes.
