Summary: The NetSuite Support Specialist role is a contract position based in London, UK, focused on ensuring the efficient operation of Finance systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite ERP. The specialist will provide Level 1 and 2 support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance while collaborating with internal teams. This position requires a strong background in finance systems and excellent problem-solving skills to manage incidents and maintain application performance. The role is classified as outside IR35, indicating a flexible contracting arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide “Level 1 & 2” support for NetSuite and other internal applications, ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Perform daily, monthly, and periodic system checks, optimizing uptime and ensuring timely outputs.
- Collaborate with Technology teams for software upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting system issues.
- Triage defects, identify fixes, and manage incidents to resolution either internally or through external suppliers.
- Develop and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system use and troubleshooting.
- Ensure data security and implement necessary safety controls across applications.
- Produce and maintain technical support guides, service catalogues, and other documentation.
- Work with stakeholders and the Release Management team to ensure UAT and regression testing are completed for all new releases.
- Communicate effectively with the business user community, managing incidents and system downtime.
- Attend Service and Operational reviews, providing reports and assisting with meeting chairing when required.
Key Skills:
- 4+ years of in-depth knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP Finance and other enterprise applications (e.g., Coupa, Payhawk, Concur).
- Finance background with experience in supporting finance and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- NetSuite Certified (preferred).
- Experience with HR Systems such as BambooHR, JazzHR, and Papaya is a plus.
- Strong service-driven mentality with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of current technology and trends in enterprise systems.
