Summary: The Interim Workday Test Lead will oversee the testing strategy for a key phase of a Workday programme within a flexible working model. This role involves managing all testing phases, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring readiness for go-live. The position is a 6-month contract with occasional travel to London required. The role is classified as outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the overall Workday testing strategy and approach
- Manage all phases of testing including system testing, integration testing, UAT and end to end testing
- Oversee test planning, scripting, execution and defect management
- Coordinate closely with HR, IT and third party implementation partners
- Provide clear reporting to programme stakeholders on progress, risks and issues
- Support business users through UAT and ensure go live readiness
Key Skills:
- Experience in leading Workday testing initiatives
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate testing efforts

Overview
We are supporting a client who is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Workday Test Lead to support a key phase of their Workday programme. This is an initial 6 month contract offering a high level of flexibility, with only occasional travel to London required. You will take ownership of the end to end testing strategy and ensure a robust, well governed approach across the Workday landscape.
