Summary: The role of Interim Senior Finance Manager - M&A Integration involves leading the finance integration for mergers and acquisitions within a growing business in South Yorkshire. The position requires managing technical accounting for acquisitions and shaping the financial integration strategy while supporting the Finance Controller and CFO. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end integration of M&A projects and ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiencies post-acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the end-to-end integration of all M&A projects
- Taking responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of acquisition completion
- Identifying and leading initiatives to realize operational efficiencies post-acquisition
- Production of completion accounts
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Managing the integration of all finance-related processes and systems
- Supporting broader finance transformation initiatives
- Working with the finance function to develop and execute clear integration plans across processes and systems
- Conducting post-transaction financial analysis to evaluate the success of the integration
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ideally ACA)
- Previous M&A accounting and integration experience
- A technically strong accountant
- Strong communication and organization skills
