Summary: The role of Interim Senior Accountant involves supporting the Financial Controller in managing the finance function during a 6-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure month-end close is completed on time and produce draft accounts.
- Production of monthly management accounts.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Work closely with the commercial team and provide technical assistance where appropriate.
- Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and treasury teams.
- Engage in ad hoc project work.
Key Skills:
- Post-qualified accountant.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI is highly advantageous.
- Ability to adapt to various tasks as needed.
Salary (Rate): £80,000.00 yearly

Our client has an urgent requirement for a post-qualified accountant to join them on a 6 month fixed-term contract to assist the Financial Controller with day-to-day running of the finance function. The role will be varied and duties will improve Ensuring month end close is completed on time and producing draft accounts Production of monthly management accounts Assisting with budgeting and forecasting Balance sheet reconciliations Working closely with commercial team and providing technical assistance where appropriate Working closely with FP&A, tax and treasury teams Ad hoc project work The successful candidate will be a post-qualified individual who is happy to commit to the duration of a 6 month role and will be someone who is happy to parachute in turn their hand to whatever is presented to them. As well as being technically adept, advanced Excel skills are essential and Power BI knowledge would be highly advantageous. This role will be hybrid after a short bedding in period.
