Summary: The Interim Global Revenue Accountant role is a 6-month contract position based in Crawley, focusing on complex revenue recognition in a multinational environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to integration efforts related to potential acquisitions. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days in the office each week. The role is suited for an experienced accountant with a strong background in IFRS 15 and revenue accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts, POs, and terms to ensure accurate revenue recognition under IFRS 15
- Prepare revenue and cost transfer journals
- Reconcile key revenue accounts and maintain amortisation schedules
- Perform variance analysis and support month-end close
- Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Audit, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations
- Contribute to integration work related to a potential acquisition
- Use Excel, JDE, Cognos, and Salesforce
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally in a global context
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15
- Background in services or manufacturing
- Analytical mindset with strong communication skills
- Experience in shared services or process transformation is a plus
- Comfortable working across time zones
