Summary: The Interim Commercial Finance Business Partner will focus on pricing analytics and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within a leading international business. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance pricing strategies and commercial reporting frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for deep-dive analyses of product profitability and will lead forecasting and budgeting processes across the EU region. The position requires a blend of analytical skills and commercial finance expertise in a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and owning the Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis to examine product-level profitability.
- Interpreting complex product attributes and identifying commercial levers for margin variance.
- Reviewing and challenging the current pricing strategy across the European business.
- Leading forecast/budget cycles for commercial performance across the EU region.
- Working cross-functionally to assess pricing capture, application, and reporting.
- Standardising financial processes for accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
- Translating large data sets into actionable insights using BI tools.
- Driving forecasting and budgeting processes related to sales, margin, and pricing.
- Supporting commercial and finance teams with scenario modelling and margin analysis.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in commercial finance business partnering and FP&A roles.
- Strong analytical background in pricing analytics and PVM.
- Confident in navigating product costing and identifying margin drivers.
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrix-led, multinational environment.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake).
- Strong communication and business partnering skills.
