Summary: The role of Interim Management Accountant at a large and growing business in West Yorkshire involves key responsibilities in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. The position requires a qualified finance leader to manage payroll and fixed asset costs, support financial reporting, and ensure accurate reconciliation and budgeting. This is a 3 to 6-month assignment with an immediate start, requiring a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting for and reporting of group costs
  • Maintaining a rebate register
  • Reconciliation of costs and production of a summary for the management accounts
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Financial analysis
  • Monitoring and review of spend versus budget
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Completion of VAT returns
  • Providing support on the period end close process

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Finance Leader (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or by experience)
  • Experienced management accountant
  • Experience of working within a group function is desirable
  • Strong communication skills
