Summary: The role of Interim Management Accountant at a large and growing business in West Yorkshire involves key responsibilities in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. The position requires a qualified finance leader to manage payroll and fixed asset costs, support financial reporting, and ensure accurate reconciliation and budgeting. This is a 3 to 6-month assignment with an immediate start, requiring a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting for and reporting of group costs
- Maintaining a rebate register
- Reconciliation of costs and production of a summary for the management accounts
- Accruals and prepayments
- Financial analysis
- Monitoring and review of spend versus budget
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Completion of VAT returns
- Providing support on the period end close process
Key Skills:
- Qualified Finance Leader (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or by experience)
- Experienced management accountant
- Experience of working within a group function is desirable
- Strong communication skills
