Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR support to key business units
  • Line management of a small team on site
  • Report into Business Unit HR Director and part of HR Leadership Team
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and workforce development
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
  • Manage employee relations, offering guidance and resolution on complex issues
  • Analyse HR data to inform decision-making and improve organisational performance
  • Oversee recruitment processes to ensure the acquisition of top talent
  • Advise on compensation, benefits, and reward programmes to maintain competitiveness
  • Drive organisational change initiatives and improve employee engagement

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience within the Human Resources function, ideally in the manufacturing, logistics, FMCG or Construction industries
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and data analytics tools
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A relevant degree or professional HR qualification is preferred

Job Offer

Competitive salary in the range of £55,000-65,000 per annum.
