Key Responsibilities:

Purpose
This role will be on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis (Maternity Cover), you will be part of a team of Management Accountants, responsible for the preparation and delivery of the management accounts, whilst ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial data. This will be achieved by providing financial support to City Football Group’s business units, whilst striving to continuously improve the management accounts process and enhancing internal controls.
Your Impact
- Preparation of management accounts: Preparation of monthly management accounts, commentaries and supporting analysis through accurate and timely delivery of reporting.
- Management accounting support: Provide management accounting support to the wider finance department which includes financial analysis where necessary to help support decision making. Also to provide support during any audit processes.
- Internal Controls: Continue to enhance internal control processes which include monthly balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger. This will also include continuous optimisation of the Group’s finance system.
- Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular catch ups and support where necessary.
- Ad-hoc projects: Complete ad-hoc projects when required within the finance department.
