Summary: The Interim Head of Reporting will play a crucial role in a high-growth, Private Equity-backed Healthcare business, focusing on redesigning the IFRS year-end reporting process. This position requires a technical expert to enhance audit preparation efficiency and deliver accurate multi-jurisdictional IFRS statutory reports. The role demands international exposure and involves significant interaction with auditors and stakeholders. The contract is expected to last between 6 to 9 months, based in Manchester with a daily rate of £800 outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Redesign the IFRS year-end reporting process.
  • Lead month-end close and consolidation across multiple international entities.
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts (IFRS), managing external audit process.
  • Ensure technical compliance and robustness of financial reporting and controls.
  • Act as primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and PE stakeholders.
  • Implement and optimize finance systems, processes, and documentation.
  • Support investor reporting, board packs, and ad hoc commercial analysis.

Key Skills:

  • Qualifications ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a PE portfolio.
  • Experience working in a business with £700+ million revenue.

Finatal are partnered with a high-growth, Private Equity-backed Healthcare business who are backed by a Large-Cap PE Fund. They are searching for an extremely technical Head of Group Reporting to redesign the IFRS year-end reporting process. Additionally, you will be responsible for reducing audit preparation time, deliver accurate multi-jurisdictional IFRS statutory reports, management packs, and debt covenant compliance reports. The ideal candidate will have international exposure.
