Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the finance function, embedding a positive culture throughout.
- Support the organization with a Sage implementation.
- Produce the monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary for the Board.
- Effectively business partner with key budget holders, holding them accountable for budgets and forecasts for their departmental areas.
- Own the P&L and balance sheet.
- Review current month-end processes and procedures and implement necessary improvements.
- Conduct financial modeling around potential scenarios.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations.
- Perform cash flow forecasting.
- Produce statutory accounts.
- Conduct business performance analysis.
Key Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Experience working within a charitable environment is ideal, but a passion for the sector is also valued.
- Hands-on accounting experience while leading a team.
- Familiarity with Sage is beneficial but not essential.
