Summary: The role of Interim Financial Reporting Accountant involves providing on-demand financial accounting services to clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of half and full year-end accounts and audit liaison
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting
  • Accounting for acquisitions, mergers, and disposals
  • Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP
  • Providing interim financial support and troubleshooting
  • Reviewing and improving financial systems, processes, and controls
  • Producing ad-hoc analysis and reports for senior management

Key Skills:

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA, or ITA) with post-qualification experience
  • Experience in financial reporting and accounts preparation
  • Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP
  • Experience with group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting
  • Ability to provide interim financial support and troubleshoot issues
  • Experience in reviewing and improving financial systems and processes
  • Knowledge of P2P, R2R, and O2C processes is desired
  • Strong analytical skills for producing ad-hoc reports
