Interim Financial Controller

Summary: The role of Interim Financial Controller involves overseeing finance process transformations and new systems implementations for a rapidly growing UK luxury label. The position requires a hands-on leader with experience in finance transformation, managing a sizeable team, and ensuring effective financial controls. The role is based in West London and is a fixed-term contract lasting 3-6 months. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and collaborate with the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing processes and controls and streamlining with effective documentation.
• Financial accounting - reviewing current methods and onboarding new projects.
• Management accounting - ensuring month-end timetables are delivered.
• Reviewing AR processes and supporting new process implementation.
• Assessing current policies and reporting, identifying gaps, and finding solutions.
• Preparing for new ERP system by reviewing current processes and workflow design.
• Looking at proposals for post-ERP structure.

Key Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Previous experience as an FC or no. 2 in Finance during a period of high growth.
• Finance transformation and business change/improvement background.
• Experience in the luxury retail and online industry is ideal.
• Excellent people management skills.

Salary (Rate): £120,000.00
