Summary: The Finance Manager role at a leading commercial real estate company in London involves overseeing internal and external financial reporting, managing the annual audit program, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the quarterly financial management reporting process
- Oversee the annual financial statements preparation process
- Manage the annual external audit programme; act as principal contact for external auditors
- Handle cash reporting, including liquidity forecasts
- Ensure compliance reporting on third party financing
- Liaise with external tax advisers on compliance and reporting matters
- Review VAT returns for all companies
- Conduct review of balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Manage arrears reporting
- Responsible for consolidated financials which support the company’s Annual Plan process
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with 7+ years of post-qualified experience
- Proficient in Office 365 skills, particularly Excel
- Confident in use of IT systems
- Experience in the UK real estate sector is beneficial
- Experience of JD Edwards finance system is advantageous
- Strong communicator with ability to interact with all levels of staff within the business and external providers
