Summary: The Interim Director of Corporate Finance will lead complex project financing initiatives for a PE-backed Renewable Energy firm during a critical expansion phase. This role involves structuring and negotiating debt financing for infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to optimize capital deployment and support corporate development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project financing efforts, structuring of debt solutions to support major infrastructure developments.
• Drive negotiations with lenders and investors, securing competitive terms aligned with the company's long-term financial strategy.
• Oversee pre-investment due diligence, ensuring a comprehensive risk assessment and financial validation for project funding.
• Manage relationships with institutional lenders, private equity investors, and development finance institutions, ensuring seamless execution of financing transactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including corporate finance, legal, and operational teams, to optimize capital structuring and funding strategies.
• Support corporate development initiatives, identifying and evaluating strategic financing opportunities to fuel growth.

Key Skills:

• 8-10 years' experience in Project Finance, Structured Finance, or Investment Banking, ideally within Infrastructure, Energy, or Capital-Intensive industries.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and structuring expertise, with hands-on experience in debt financing transactions.
• Proven track record in securing and executing complex financing deals, including experience negotiating term sheets and managing due diligence.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders (C-suite, PE sponsors, institutional lenders) to drive deal execution.
