- Deep understanding of retail finance, including trading performance, margin analysis, and forecasting
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making
- Comfortable operating in a transformation-heavy environment with pace and ambiguity

Interim Commercial Finance Director – Retail | £200–250K FTC
We are partnering with a £1bn plus retail business to appoint an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Director. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic leadership and hands-on commercial finance expertise in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment. The role will be on a Fixed Term Contract, salary of circa £200-250k, and will require onsite presence in the North of England 2days per week.
The successful interim will have:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Director or equivalent in large-scale organisations (ideally £1bn+ turnover)
- Deep understanding of retail finance, including trading performance, margin analysis, and forecasting
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making
- Comfortable operating in a transformation-heavy environment with pace and ambiguity
