Summary: The role of Student Integrations Developer at Optima Global Solutions Inc. involves developing, testing, and implementing integrations with the Banner Student ERP system. The candidate will work closely with functional users to gather requirements and resolve integration issues, while also maintaining effective communication with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership in the development, testing, configuration, and implementation of new interfaces into and out of Banner Student, Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable modules.
- Take a lead role interfacing Banner with any of the third-party products that are purchased.
- Assist with production support and resolution of integration issues.
- Meet with the functional users and gather accurate requirements and deliver the integrations to the campus community.
- Translate advanced technical issues into understandable terms for non-technical functional users.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperative working relationships with the Institution administrators, faculty and staff, government, and private agencies in order to accomplish the objectives of the Information Technology Division.
- Works with internal clients to develop and manage project plans and verify requirements for software applications that generate the need for changes in the information technology infrastructure.
- Ability to think clearly and accurately resolve processing problems under pressure.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field.
- Five years of professional experience in systems programming.
- Three years of higher education experience including building/supporting integrations.
- Three years of strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL programming skills.
- Strong knowledge of underlying database structures in Student, Financial Aid and Accounts Receivable Modules.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments with critical deadlines and changing priorities.

Our Client is in need of a Student Integration Developer with expertise on PL/SQL, Python and Student Banner. Candidate should have prior experience intergrating 3rd party products with Banner or similar higher ed ERPs .

REQUIRED :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field. Relevant IT certifications/equivalent experience in an information systems role may be considered in lieu of a degree.
