Summary: The Integration Developer role at ABF involves designing and developing integration solutions for various household name brands within the Grocery division. The position requires a strong technical background in integration or ETL technologies, with a minimum of three years of experience in IT. The role is based on-site in Bootle, England, for 2-3 days a week and is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design integration solutions that meet the organisation's needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Develop and maintain integration solutions using various programming languages, APIs, and tools.
- Contribute to the technical design and architecture of software applications.
- Create and maintain APIs that enable seamless communication between different software applications.
- Identify and resolve issues related to integrations, such as data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform data mapping and transformation between various systems to ensure accurate data exchange.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data during integration processes.
Key Skills:
- API or interface / Integration Development experience.
- SQL Query proficiency.
- Strong understanding of data structures and relational databases.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT within a development environment.
- ITIL accreditation preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
